It goes like this.
Love, Townes.
Today mom and I worked from home. Solo. Mom has a long way to go. The smoke alarm went off twice, I screamed during a few conference calls, and she spilled her milk all over my crib. And did I mention the house is a mess and dinner is not on the table? Mom needed my help so here I am helping her with her conference call.
Dear Three Months,
I didn’t think it was possible to beat two months, but you’ve been great. You made me real strong – I can roll from front to back, sleep on my side, carry on a conversation with my pals, and most recently giggle. Life is just the best. Also, folks call me ‘healthy,’ but I really think they are trying to tell me I am a big boy.
Four months, here I come.
Love, Townes.
Since I was born, I’ve been having dreams about a girl who would take me on adventures. We’d put on our capes, have tea with the robots, and defeat the droids. Afterwards, we’d listen to Townes Van Zandt’s self titled album.
Today I met that girl and her name is Sophie Deveson and she came to visit me from London. She taught me how to giggle and the joy in giggling.
We are going to go on many adventures together in this lifetime.
Love, Townes.
